Sayed's Story

As a part of GSN's commitment to highlight stories of survivors of terror, we are pleased to introduce Sayed Ali Shah. Husband, father and Commander for the Capital City Police in Peshawar, Pakistan, Sayed was posted at a courthouse on October 16, 2009 when a suicide bomber attacked, killing 15 people. Sayed was critically wounded by the blast in a way that has forever changed his life.

"These terrorists should look within themselves and realize we are all humans."
Share Sayed's strength and resilience in the face of terror by watching his short film and spreading the message.

"I pray that God protects everyone from such disasters. No matter what country they are from."
This video is part of a new short film series presented by Global Survivors Network that will feature stories of terror survivors . For periodic updates on news, documentary film screenings, and worldwide events, join us or follow us on facebook and twitter.
If you would like to submit your own story, let us know. We will be happy to help you speak truth to terror.
