The Association for Victims of Terrorism in Indonesia (ASKOBI), sponsored by Global Survivors Network, hosted a working discussion with the nation's leading experts in social media, print, radio and television, as well as government and NGO officials. The discussion focused on how victims of terrorism can best spread their message of peace and support through the various channels represented.

That same day also marked the launch of the new ASKOBI website, presided over by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. R.M.Marty Natalegawa, M. Phil, B.Sc.

On 28 February 2010, Jakarta-area high school and university students were invited to speak with victims of terror from ASKOBI. What resulted was a pledge from many students to volunteer to help ASKOBI speak out around the country. The event concluded with a surprise performance from top Indonesian pop star D'Masif.
